About Owner, Misty Mills
Misty Mills began working with dogs professionally in 2009. Under the mentorship of a certified trainer, she earned her CPDT-KA certification in 2014. She holds a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Communication, which is tremendously useful when working with dogs and their owners.
Her philosophy when working with animals is to start with kindness, both towards the dogs and their people. Her methods are science-based and she continues to attend education programs regularly. Her training passions are for pet dogs, families with children, canine exercise, and working with breeders and rescues with puppies from birth through placement with their forever families.

Lotus Canine Companions is a private training program run solely by founder Misty Mills. With her vast education in dog training, she has created a highly personalized approach to conducting a variety of programs that fit your family and dog's specific needs. All programs are conducted in a home environment to provide a highly customized, personal experience for you and your companion. This approach has proven to be more effective than large training classes as you and your dog receive 100% of the trainers attention.
